Procurement Business Partner Capital Projects

salary to £65k + Car + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leading Facilities Management company who are keen to attract individuals with the drive and energy to make a real difference.

In this role you will provide senior procurement support to the Capital Projects Team across the UK and Channel Islands; working closely with capital project leadership to identify and implement opportunities to drive efficiency, value for money, improve quality and compliance, whilst ensuring high performance and appropriate processes are used for planned preventative, reactive and project works.

This is an exciting key role where you will identify opportunities to drive improved efficiency, quality, innovation and customer service and work closely with the account team on implementation.

You will also work closely with Capital Projects team to ensure" value for money" for project procurements and lead the successful mobilisation of new suppliers into the account.

As the "go to" person for Procurement for innovating and enhancing the reporting structures for the performance of the Projects business for both Internal (Head Office & Country) and External Client Stakeholders, you will act as the link between the account team and Procurement to ensure strategies and objective remain aligned whilst providing ongoing development, benchmarking and improvement for the Procurement function.

Success criteria will include the improvement of compliance to preferred supplier agreements across the account, ensuring all relevant suppliers meet minimum assurance requirements & contractual terms are in place. You will ensure appropriate management of the supply base (SRM) and contractual flow downs are agreed for critical suppliers. Identification and delivery of cost out / savings initiatives reported through central SC&P function.

Key requirements:

• Extensive and proven experience in Procurement.
• Experience of supporting Capital Project works, with a high level of technical understanding construction methods, technology and standard forms of measurement. Ability to read, understand, interpret and analyse a project programme; experience within construction industry is preferred.
• Degree educational background preferred.
• Professional certification CIPS and/or MBA are highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and strong awareness of commercial (QS/Legal) processes is desired.
• Strong business acumen, with strong knowledge of P2P business models and sourcing approaches or techniques necessary to achieve best in class.
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders, at multiple levels within the company using a variety of formats, presentations, emails, leading meetings, face to face, etc.
• Strong change management capability with demonstrable results.
• Supplier Relationship Management experience.
• Knowledge of Public Sector an advantage.
• A willingness to travel as is required.
