Role: Buyer/Inkoop/Purchaser Indirect Materials + Services + Capex

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable energy? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join a rapidly growing global leader in energy infrastructure striving towards a carbon-neutral future.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process and inventory for many of the Capex, MRO, Materials and Service contracts; working closely with the Regional Procurement Manager on the higher-value contracts.

There are fantastic progression opportunities with procurement continuing to expand, and alongside the team, you'll play a key role in developing procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Planning: You'll analyse and forecast the terminal's material and service needs to ensure timely acquisitions.
• Vendor Management: In this role, you'd identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on capability, quality, reliability, and pricing. You'll negotiate prices and contracts for purchases under $50K USD and collaborate with the Regional Procurement Manager for higher-value expenditures.
• Order Management: You'd place orders with selected suppliers, track deliveries, and resolve any procurement-related issues that arise.
• Quality Assurance: You'll ensure all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Inventory Management: Working closely with the warehouse team, you'd help manage inventory levels and lead times effectively.
• Reporting: You'll prepare detailed procurement reports for senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
• Compliance: You'd be responsible for creating POs, receipts, waybills, and warranties within Oracle, and for diligently following up on quotations. You'll escalate any audit and governance concerns related to procurement policies as needed.

Candidate Profile:

• Procurement/Purchasing experience
• Dutch Speaker
• Exposure to any of the following is desirable: CAPEX, OPEX, EPC, equipment, engineering, manufacturing, production type spend etc
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
