Role: Category Manager IT

If so, I have a live Category Manager role sitting with one of my key clients who are an independent consultancy working with a diverse portfolio of clients, offering excellent career opportunities and support to ambitious candidates.

You will work as part of a Commercial team managing a commercial pipeline across digital and technology. The category teams are supported by the Commercial Policy, Governance and Assurance team to provide an end to commercial advice and procurement service which under pins delivery of every area and you will be required to provide commercial expertise to support delivery.

Key requirements:

• SC cleared
• IT category Procurement experience
• Commercial experience in Procurement, ideally gained within a regulated environment
• MCIPS and/or Degree level qualification
• Ability to help formulate and develop strategic initiatives
• Confidence to deal with clients and others whilst striving to exceed their commercial expectations
• Commercial acumen and supporting delivery
• Risk and opportunity management
