Role: EU Public Policy Analyst
Contract: Full-time, permanent position
Location: Amsterdam, NL
Hybrid: Work from home, 2-3 days pw
Salary: Up to €70k + 10% bonus

Exclusive new EU Public Policy Analyst opportunity with one of the leading industrial organisations globally within the construction sector that's continuing to expand. This newly created role sits within the company's global sustainability function and supports its commitment to regulatory compliance, sustainability, and competitiveness within Europe. This role offers the opportunity to actively shape and influence public policy initiatives with a direct impact on the construction sector and industries requiring substantial carbon reduction efforts.

The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, including presentations to C-Suite (CSO's, CFO's etc) and MD's. You'll track and assess key European industrial policies and building regulations, analysing their impact, and crafting advocacy strategies to support industry competitiveness and sustainability goals.

Significant progression opportunities have been articulated by the client.

Responsibilities

  • Policy Monitoring: Track regulatory developments, identify key stakeholders, and assess the impact on industry.
  • Internal Coordination: Develop and communicate policy positions, organize internal briefings, and support advocacy programs.
  • External Advocacy: Represent the company in public policy groups and implement EU advocacy strategies.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of EU Industrial policies. With experience of construction and/or hard-to-abate industries a bonus
  • Proficiency in analysing complex regulations and communicating findings
  • Prior experience in public affairs or regulatory roles
  • Fluent English and advanced PowerPoint skills
