Infrastructure Procurement Manager £75000

Role: Infrastructure Procurement Manager (NEC)

Salary: £75,000 plus benefits (Including Bonus up to 25%, Pension up to 12% contribution from client, Life Assurance, Medical, Shares, Travel Allowance, etc.)

Client: Major airport

Location: Hybrid working from home and 2 days per week in Staines.

A chance to join the world's fastest-growing airport, generating £3 billion in revenue, and welcoming 10s of millions of passengers per year. This organisation boasts a procurement function that has been nominated for the Sustainability Procurement Project of the Year by CIPS, and is business with sustainability at the heart of their ethos.

Role:

You will be a crucial part of the Infrastructure Procurement Team, who are responsible for £1bn of Capital Expenditure, with the opportunity to support various workstreams, including Long Term Growth, Asset Management, Revenue Generation, and Carbon and Sustainability.

You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure to manage the end-to-end Procurement and delivery of Capital Works, Infrastructure, and Services. Requirements:

  • Strong experience and ability to see Procurement Projects across their full lifecycle.
  • An interest in long-term, construction asset development, including the associated works and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management ability.
  • A Quantity Surveyor or Project Management background would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of the NEC4 suite of contracts is preferred, JCT and FIDIC contract knowledge will also be considered.
