Interim Capital Procurement Manager £600pd

Role: Interim Capital Construction and Engineering Services Procurement Manager

Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: World-leader in Pharmaceuticals

Location: Hybrid with 2 days per week in West Sussex

Duration: Initial contract to end of June 2025

A Procurement Manager to report into the Director of Global Procurement, and lead major, CAPEX projects and deliver strategy for a FTSE 100 Pharmaceuticals leader. You will join a team responsible for all manufacturing sites across the UK, with £100millions of project spend.

You will be responsible for CAPEX Professional Services (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Project Management) and Trade contractors (CSA, M&P, EC&I).

This is a blended strategic and hands-on role, where you will execute robust tendering processes, implement strategy and integration with suppliers, and carry out Supplier Performance Management.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Capital Construction and Engineering Procurement.
• Experience procuring Professional Services and Trade packages.
• Experience with NEC contract suites, and ideally FIDIC and ICHEME.
• End-to-end Procurement, including Category Strategy and Management.
• People Management ability.
• Advantageous would be any experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Food or FMCG.
