Rate = £500 p/d

Duration = initial assignment until March 2025 (likely to extend in line with budget cycles)

Location = Barrow-In-Furness (on-site)

Overview

Experienced Commercial and Contracts Manager with Security Clearance required to support high profile single source Qualifying Defence Contract between Government and prime contractor.

This is a significant project with spend in the region of £7.5 billion over the life of the programme across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The role is part of a team managing the contractual relationship between government and the prime contractor aligned to the Nuclear Deterrent programme.

This is a complex role as this is a single source contract with fixed overhead on costs. Key deliverable will be ensuring spend is properly monitored and managed throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

Experience

• You will need to demonstrate sound and recent QDC experience relating to single source contract models.
• Ideally you will hold existing SC clearance
• Previous experience gained with the MOD is highly desirable
• You will demonstrate deep commercial contract management experience relating to high value single source spend programmes
