About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Procurement Managers to join our Construction & Infrastructure team. This is an opportunity to lead high-value, high-risk procurements and work on complex projects, including £6bn worth of work currently in the strategy phase.

You will be responsible for running Invitation to Tender (ITT), defining strategy, delivering procurements, and leading processes. The role requires hands-on execution rather than high-level strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own procurement processes under the Open Market Procurement Act
  • Develop and execute route-to-market & packaging strategies
  • Manage regulated procurement activities (NEC3 / JCT knowledge beneficial but not critical)
  • Deliver on highly complex procurements - beyond standard PCR procurement
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal hand-holding
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and governance frameworks
  • Drive leadership within the team and across projects

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in high-value, high-risk, and complex procurements
  • Strong understanding of regulated procurement processes
  • Ability to work autonomously with no hand-holding
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, and major projects
  • Experience with NEC3 / JCT is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong leadership skills and a "get-things-done" attitude
