Do you want to work with a business who are investing significantly in new technologies, have close supplier and stakeholder collaboration and offer progression and hybrid working with 1 day per week in the office in either Munich or Berlin?

Then this could be for you......we require a Procurement buyer to join a fast paced purchasing team undertaking a varied procurement role and playing a crucial part in ensuring the timely availability of equipment and services.

This role includes, but is not limited to:
* Selecting, qualifying, and developing suppliers as well as monitoring supplier performance.
* Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
* Placing and tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
* Negotiating procurement terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.
* Developing, advancing, and implementing procurement strategies for assigned projects in close
collaboration with the respective project teams
* Building and maintaining relationships and proactively collaborating with projects and stakeholders
within the company.
* Proactively identifying and realising cost reduction and optimisation opportunities.
* Managing risks related to procurement challenges proactively.
* Identifying and leveraging industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuously
enhance efficiency.

You will ideally have:

* A confident demeanour with strong negotiation skills, proactivity, and a quality -driven
mindset.
* Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
* Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain.
* Bachelor's degree in business, law, or engineering; alternatively, relevant certifications.
* a minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Enjoy working with business clients and cross-functional teams.
* Good written and spoken German (min. C1) and English (min. B1) skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Proficiency with procurement software and tools as well as excellent skills in MS Office products.
