IT Procurement Manager (hybrid - Amsterdam)

We're looking for an IT Procurement Category Manager to join a well established global business experiencing a period of change. This role is perfect for someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about securing the best deals while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Do:

  • Take ownership of IT procurement, managing everything from supplier selection to contract execution with confidence and clarity.
  • Lead complex negotiations with major IT vendors (AWS, Google, Microsoft), ensuring the best possible commercial terms.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and create long-term value.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across IT, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit to ensure procurement processes run smoothly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring accountability and high performance.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to bring innovative, cost-effective procurement solutions to the business.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of IT procurement experience, with a strong background in high-value contract negotiations.
  • A proven ability to negotiate with major technology providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Expertise in contract structuring, risk mitigation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • A confident, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bring people together and drive collaboration.
