Role: Operational Risk Contractor

Locations: London / Potters Bar

Salary/Package: £400 day rate

Role: Full time | Contract | Hybrid

1st Executive are seeking a Procurment Manager on behalf of a global financial services clinet who look after retirement, investment and protection needs of individuals. Role pitch:

* The OR Contractor Role is a 3-month contract to support the delivery of our Operational Resilience, regulatory program
* The principal task will be to support the business in the categorisation, prioritisation and resolution of identified vulnerabilities within the IBS program.
* They will:
o Develop remediation action plans
o Track and monitor the remediation process and provide MI reporting
o Update IBS documentation, including status updates for the OR Self-Assessment document
o Liaise and work with both the business and the Operational Resiliency teams to address any additional testing required as a result of the remediation actions
* The role will also champion the cultural change to a more proactive approach to Operational Resilience
* Will act as project managers for IBS vulnerability remediation and take accountability for delivery to timescales and objectives.
* They will support the Head of Operational Resilience as requested for the delivery of the Operational Resilience annual plan.

Key competencies:

* Extensive experience in an Operational Resilience role identifying IBS and vulnerabilities remediation.
* Good experience in facilitating meetings and workshops at operational and senior management level.
* Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements of PRA/FCA and in the production of formal policy/procedural type documentation.
* A sound understanding of business operating models within a financial services/insurance company
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Good Analysis skills
* Advanced user of MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio

2+ years of data analysis / Reporting
* Previous Risk knowledge
* Project management (Prince 2 or equivalent)
