Role: Procurement Manager - CAPEX, Raw Materials, Trucks, Insurance, General Indirects

Location: Amsterdam - Hybrid

Salary: €80-115k + bonus, car & broader package

Fantastic role to drive procurement within a fantastic Manufacturer/Construction organisation which is achieving impressive growth and is a part of a leading global group. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient end-to-end procurement of Capital Expenditures (CAPEX), alongside Raw Materials, Trucks, Logistics Services, and General Indirects such as Insurance. The role spans several plants/sites, and is an especially great fit for someone with experience procuring industrial machinery or broader CAPEX items.

You will be pivotal in optimizing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives. You'll innovate and improve on multiple sustainability and innovation projects. You'll also take over and lead on the procurement for the greenfield processing plant which is currently process. You will work from the main headquarters in SW Amsterdam and travel to sites across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and budgetary constraints.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other performance metrics.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable terms.
• Manage the procurement of CAPEX, raw materials, trucks, logistics services, and general indirects such as insurance.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the procurement process.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reductions within the procurement function.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Current Right to Work in the Netherlands
• English and Dutch
• 5+ years of procurement experience (may consider slightly less for the right candidate)
• Experience procuring one or more of the relevant categories, CAPEX procurement experience especially desirable
• Strong experience managing senior stakeholders and Business Partnering in diverse environments
• Ability to operate in an unstructured working environment - comfortable with change and uncertainty
