Excellent role within an expanding Manufacturing/Construction organisation which is achieving significant growth and part of a leading global group. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient end-to-end procurement of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), alongside Raw Materials, Trucks, Logistics Services, and General Indirects such as Insurance. This will be phased and you won't take over all from day one! The role spans several plants/sites.

You will be this organisation's sole procurement professional, working alongside Group Procurement. You'll report directly to the Managing Director and will likely sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), if ready. You will be pivotal in optimizing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives. You'll help drive sustainability and innovation projects. You'll also take over and lead on the procurement for the construction of a new (greenfield) processing plant.

*Essentially, you'd:

• Be the organisation's sole procurement professional, while also working alongside colleagues in group procurement
• Sit on the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), if senior enough
• Responsibility for categories such as: CAPEX, Raw Materials, Trucks, Insurance and General Indirects
• Conversational in *Dutch and English*
• 5+ years of procurement experience

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and budgetary constraints.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other performance metrics.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable terms.
• Manage the procurement of CAPEX, Raw Materials, Trucks, Logistics Services, and General Indirects such as insurance.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the procurement process.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost reductions within the procurement function.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Current Right to Work in the Netherlands
• English and Dutch - spoken and written
• 5+ years of procurement experience (may consider slightly less for the right candidate)
• Experience procuring one or more of the relevant categories, CAPEX/engineering/technical procurement experience especially desirable
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and business partnering
