Role: Procurement Manager

Salary: Up to £60K + Bonus + Pension + Private Medical + 30 Days Holiday

Location: Edinburgh / Cheshire (2 days p/w on-site)

Our client is a leading Insurance business who are pushing for change.

Role:

You will be tasked with;

  • Developing innovative category strategies to drive commercial value and efficiency mainly across the marketing / professional services category.
  • Develop an agenda which seeks to encourage commercial innovation across the portfolio - supporting internal customers to recognise the value and opportunity presented by "challenger" vendors
  • Utilise your deep market knowledge of the Marketing domain to position yourself as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the in-house, captive, sourcing execution team through the S2C process for all go to market procedures

Experience:

You will demonstrate:

  • Delivering commercial innovation within the category - including the introduction of "challenger" vendors into the portfolio
  • Marketing and Professional Services experience desired.
  • Evidence of challenging Exec level stakeholders in regard to their appetite for Risk within the portfolio
  • Experience gained in regulated private sector organisations - Financial Services preferred
  • Completed contract reviews and contract clauses - without legal support
