Role: Procurement Manager - IT, HR & Corporate Services (European remit to start, then Global)

Location: Rotterdam, NL

Hybrid: Flexible, 2-3 days home working, 2-3 days office/site

Salary: €70-90k + 15% bonus + car allowance + health benefits + training budget

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable energy? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join a rapidly growing global leader in energy infrastructure striving towards a carbon-neutral future.

With procurement being entirely greenfield, you'll make a significant impact by shaping and owning c€60m of global spend (increasing to €100m+) across IT and HR categories specifically, with some broader Corporate Services also included.

Being greenfield, you'll develop various IT services, SaaS and AI following recent digital market developments. Equally with HR, you'll implement a range of new HR related requirements such as lease cars and employee portals. Excitingly, the company is expanding rapidly, growing procurement this year and planning to double again by the end of 2025 - putting you in a fantastic position for progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional and global procurement strategies for IT and HR specifically, with some broader Corporate Services also included
  • Lead negotiations and manage both long and short global/regional framework agreements
  • Develop and implement structured procurement strategies, leveraging the 7-step sourcing process to optimise spend and supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies align with operational and technical requirements
  • Travel to various sites across Europe to oversee procurement activities and engage with on-site teams

Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of procurement experience
  • Exposure to HR spend, any additional IT or broader indirects a positive
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and drive results in a greenfield setting
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to sites across Europe
