My automotive client is a dynamic Corporate Senior Purchasing Manager to join their indirect team with a key focus on facility management and related topics, located in Munich as they are embarking on an exciting transformation journey with a newly created corporate function!

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize & Execute: Craft and drive innovative facility management strategies
  • Market Insights: Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends and supplier performance. Your analytical skills will uncover opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
  • Negotiate & Lead: Lead the charge in preparing bids, evaluating offers, and securing the best deals. Present your results to the sourcing board and management with confidence and clarity.
  • Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to create synergy and achieve stellar outcomes. Your collaboration will ensure the best possible results for all stakeholders.
  • Innovate: Continuously enhance templates, tools, and data quality within our systems. Your contributions will drive efficiency and innovation across the board.

Experience:

  • Expertise: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A proven track record in automotive procurement, with specific experience in indirect commodities but ideally experience with FM already.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on driving cost reduction and improving supplier performance. Strong strategic planning abilities and a solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Mindset: An independent work style with a hands-on mentality and analytical thinking. Fluent in German and English, with proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Leadership: Experience in organizing cross-functional teams within a matrix organization. Your leadership will guide the team to success.
