Salary: £50-75k + 16% bonus + package
Excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global manufacturing company with a turnover in the €billions that focuses strongly on sustainable working practices, with a great culture and brilliant internal coaching and training. They operate across Europe and the US and have recently grown through a significant acquisition. The procurement and supply chain teams are also significantly expanding, creating significant progression opportunities over the coming years.
This is a fantastic role with a broad career-building scope to drive supply chain excellence across Europe. You'll improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Supply Chain through the definition, development and implementation of projects, working closely with both local and group personnel. You will also manage and improve the supply chain analytic abilities.
Due to the transformational nature of this role, the ideal candidate will have strong influencing and partnering abilities, combined with analytical and entrepreneurial thinking to identify opportunities and then drive these projects forward. Ideally, you will be autonomous, driven and adaptable
Main Accountabilities:
- To develop and implement projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain function
- Working across Functions and Sites and with Contractors to develop and implement Supply Chain Projects
- Use a project excellence framework to ensure high-quality Project Management
- Managing Projects to ensure that they meet user requirements while controlling costs to budget and meeting implementation deadlines
- Train and support personnel to embed new tools into their everyday working life
- Handover of tools to local personnel to ensure sustainability
- Monitor usage of systems to ensure operational performance is maintained
- Performance management of supply chain processes and ownership of the Demand Forecasting process and system
- Ownership of the Supply Planning (RCCP) process and system
- Monitoring the functional (Product / Demand / Supply) compliance to IBP management processes
Key Competencies:
- Experience across Supply Chain, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Operations, Project Management and Change Management
- Ability to drive excellence (continuous improvement, project management and change management) across several concurrent projects
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and gain trust
- Analytical, with a strong knowledge of using supply chain tooling programmes
- Ideally a Project Management Qualification - though not essential
