Role: Third Party Risk Manager

Location: Basingstoke (Agile / Hybrid Working)
Fantastic opportunity to take a newly created role, with a PE backed organisation, owning and driving the TPRM agenda with responsibility for designing and implementing the overarching governance framework.
What will I be doing?
Sitting within the Procurement Operations team, you will lead the third-party risk management (TPRM) function, overseeing all risk management activities delivered by the outsourced TPRM team.
- Working closely with SMEs (such as operational resilience, Infosec, and ESG), this role is accountable for driving supply chain resilience and ensuring third party risks are managed effectively and in compliance with FCA regulations.
- Oversee the delivery of all TPRM activity throughout the supplier lifecycle (sourcing to offboarding), ensuring appropriate oversight and management of third party risks
- Act as the primary point of escalation during risk incidents and major supply chain disruptions, providing support and guidance to Procurement, the business and senior stakeholders
- Lead the development and implementation of TPRM controls and frameworks, including systems, processes and policies
- Drive risk maturity across the Procurement function and wider business, through education and risk maturity initiatives
What experience do I need to apply?
- Deep understanding in risk management, with a focus on third-party risk management
- Experience working in TPRM within an FCA regulated organisation (essential)
- Familiarity with TPRM technologies such as Experian, Exiger, Ariba (desirable)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry relevant to third-party risk such as ISO 22301
