We are recruiting for our Global automotive client and are looking for a Global Indirect Procurement Manager, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for shaping procurement strategies with a key focus on IT: IT Licenses, Contracts, Tools, and Services. Additional responsibilities include overseeing engineering equipment , MRO as well as other indirect services.
In this role, you will not only support day-to-day operations across a global organization but also play a pivotal role in preparing for future needs and advancing the technology platforms. Your proactive approach will drive improvements, cost efficiency, and alignment with global policies and best practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a global procurement team, fostering collaboration and personal growth.
- Define and execute category strategies, with a primary focus on IT and additional areas like engineering equipment and MRO.
- Manage group budgets, monitor KPIs, and ensure effective contract management.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives, both hard (P&L) and soft.
- Be the key point of contact for all indirect procurement activities, ensuring seamless daily operations.
- Cultivate an environment that supports growth and innovation within the procurement team.
Who You Are
- Hold a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- A collaborative leader with global experience in indirect procurement, specifically and a MUST have is within IT categories.
- Skilled in negotiation, strategic analysis, and supply base management.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- A team player who values results as much as employee well-being.
- Analytical and data-driven, with a knack for promoting cooperation across diverse teams.
- Proven success in developing and managing teams in a global context.
- A passion for fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
