As a Senior Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating, shaping and implementing category strategies for key direct categories being packaging. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving impactful change. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a global transformation within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop and execute global category strategies aligned with overall business objectives
• Drive cost optimization, innovation, and sustainability within the supply chain
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and market trends
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish long-term partnerships
• Contribute to the development of a best-in-class global category management function

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in category management within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of packaging and logistics category
• Demonstrated success in driving change and implementing strategic initiatives
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• German languages skills is a MUST for this role
